What is the MSBL?
The Men’s Senior Baseball League (MSBL) / Men’s Adult Baseball League (MABL) is the premier amateur baseball league for adults 18 years of age and older, as well as leagues featuring divisions for ages 25+, 35+, 45+, 55+, 65+, and 70+.
Founded in 1988, MSBL is still the fastest-growing adult baseball organization in the country. Nationally, MSBL has 325 local affiliates, 3,500 teams, and over 75,000 members who play organized baseball in local area leagues. MSBL National also hosts 8 national tournaments throughout the year and 10 regional tournaments hosted locally by MSBL affiliates.

MSBL continues to expand in communities where programs do not exist or do not have the national affiliation to remain viable. MSBL/MABL National remains committed to supplying all of our new and existing leagues with extensive support. The MSBL is poised to reach 100,000 members in the next 5 years. MSBL is in every major market in the United States, from Fairbanks, AK to Palm Beach, FL and from San Diego, CA to Southern Maine and has had features in Sports Illustrated, USA Today and also highlighted on Good Morning America and The Today Show.

The Benefits of Membership in MSBL/MABL
Besides the camaraderie and great friendships established, MSBL members enjoy discounts on products and services they can use for both their baseball and personal needs. Most players can easily recoup the cost of playing by leveraging the discounts each is afforded as a league member. Marucci Sports develops dedicated MSBL/MABL members specials multiple times per year, offering members significant discounts (often 20%-25% off their entire catalog). These savings alone will allow each MSBL/MABL member to recoup their yearly national affiliation fee ($26 per player).
In addition to participant legal liability insurance, local leagues can opt for the additional accident/medical coverage as well. Should a player suffer a significant injury, this coverage supplements the player’s existing medical coverage and can be used to reimburse the player’s out-of-pocket expenses for deductibles, co-pays, or instances where his personal insurance has limits for up to $25,000.
Benefits of Running a League
Local Leagues also benefit from low-cost, high-quality insurance, baseballs, equipment, and other items that come with MSBL’s reputation and buying power. By establishing long-term working relationships for the use of High School, College, and Municipal fields, the local MSBL/MABL leagues play a constructive role in maintaining the fields that are used. Our local leagues also engage members in helping to support school baseball programs. MSBL’s logo and name can often be the difference between gaining the use of a baseball complex and being denied due to the lack of having the reputation of a top-notch, nationally recognized leader in amateur sports. Leagues can also leverage their national clout to secure local sponsorships.
MSBL Smart Waiver Program
MSBL offers a FREE online player waiver system for all MSBL Leagues. A personalized link will be provided for a fully customizable waiver with League Logo, Team Names, and any specific language needed. Weekly reports are provided to all leagues and can be sorted in any format needed. This is an excellent and free way to ensure all players have completed their waivers and an easy way for local leagues to compile member information to be used locally and to submit to the national office.

MSBL/MABL membership also makes each player eligible to participate in multiple Regional and National Tournaments. The MSBL/MABL World Series and Fall Classic tournaments take place every October/November in Phoenix, AZ (World Series) and West Palm Beach, FL (Fall Classic). These two tournaments are played primarily on MLB Spring Training fields and Stadiums. The World Series annually hosts 300 teams in age divisions from 18+ to 80+, including a 40+ team Father/Son Division. The Fall Classic annually hosts 90 teams in age divisions from 18+ to 65+.

- Sunshine Classic – Panama City Beach, FL (Mid-February)
- Holiday Classic – Orlando / Sanford, FL (March)
- Kickoff Classic – Las Vegas, NV (March)
- Las Vegas Open – Las Vegas, NV (Memorial Day Weekend)
- Stars & Stripes – West Palm Beach, FL (Memorial Day Weekend)
MSBL/MABL National hosts over 650 teams annually over our 8 national tournaments, with more than 30% of our national membership attending at least once per year.
MSBL/MABL National Charitable Efforts
MSBL/MABL National continues the precedent set by our leagues throughout the United States in giving back to the community. One way to do this is through charitable donation. In 2026, we will, again, make a concerted effort and give a large donation to one charity on behalf of all of MSBL/MABL leagues. We began this effort in 1998 by choosing the Prostate Cancer Foundation and have donated over $300,000 since then. Our goal is to reach $40,000.00 in 2026 to benefit The Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
MSBL/MABL National is asking every league to donate a minimum of $150.00 to this most worthy cause. In 2025, many leagues participated in this program and made donations, some in excess of $150.00 and up to $2,000, which was very much appreciated.
In Conclusion
In 2026, MSBL/MABL will be taking it to a new level as we celebrate our 39th Anniversary. MSBL/MSBL promises to remain the destination for adults still interested in playing America’s Pastime.
