‘Big Tenth Inning Leads Marlins Past Orioles’

The Marlins, managed by Tim Tremblay, defeated the Orioles, 13-7, thanks in part to seven runs in the tenth inning.

The Marlins got on the board in the first inning after Jordan Moore homered to right field, scoring two runs.  The Orioles made the score 3-2 in the bottom of the first after Devlin Granberg singled, scoring one run, and Alex Lee doubled, scoring two runs.

The Orioles added one run in the third. Alex Lee singled to left field, making the score 4-2.  The Marlins made the score 5-4 in the top of the sixth after Marcello Parker singled, scoring two runs, and Ryan Mills drew a walk, scoring one run.

The Orioles took the lead in the bottom of the seventh inning after Kyle Harry singled down the left field line, and the Orioles scored on a passed ball, each scoring one run.  Carlos Rivera doubled down the left field line, which helped the Marlins tie the game at six in the top of the eighth.

The Marlins then flipped the game on its head in the top of the tenth, scoring seven runs on four hits to take the lead, 13-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a fielder’s choice by Hunter Wawers that drove in two.
