North Texas Amateur Baseball League, 18+ Open Division (summer)

Rolling the clock back to Spring/Summer, the Pelicans, managed by Mathew Deacon, became the first division champions by earning the number one seed and claiming a first-round bye in the NTABL Open (18+) Division.

The Pelicans hosted and beat the Denton Mean Bears by a score of 10 to 6 before advancing to the semifinals against the number two-seeded squad, The Dark Horse.

It was the Dark Horse who made it a two-game series with an initial 8 to 4 win. However, the Pelicans fought back in the second game of the double-elimination tournament by claiming a 5 to 3 victory to secure the Championship.

The Pelicans finished the season with a 22-3 record.
