2025 Racine Blues Sweep Expos for 55+ National Division Title at Milwaukee-Rock
Milwaukee-Rock MSBL, 55+ National Division
Racine Blues 13, Expos 8 (Game two in best-of-three championship series sweep)

Submitted by Bill Windler, manager
The Racine Blues captured the 55+ National Division championship of the Rock League in Franklin, Wisconsin in startling fashion.
After completing the regular season with a 5-8 record, the Blues stormed through the playoffs with four consecutive victories.
Riding the pitching triumvirate of Jamey Oberbruner, Jim Schmor, and Roger Barney, the Blues opened the playoffs with a 14-3 victory over the Rays, then defeated a very good Lugnuts squad, 11-1, and swept the Expos, 25-9 and 13-8, in a best-of-three series.
There was not a soft spot in the lineup or the roster for that matter, as evidenced by the 38-17 margin in the two championship games.
Best of all, the 55+ Blues showed they knew how to have a good time!
