2025 Sandlotters Win Inaugural 25+ Division Title in Shenandoah Valley Adult Baseball League
Shenandoah Valley Adult Baseball League, 25+ Division
Sandlotters 7, Brewers 1 (Game two in best-of-three championship series sweep)

This was our league’s inaugural season. Our team is called the Sandlotters. We had a regular season record of 9-3, and won the first two games of the 3-game championship yesterday to claim the 25+ division championship.
In the first game, our pitcher, Trevor M, threw the whole game, giving up only three hits and zero runs. We went on to win 22-0.
In the second game of the best-of-three championship series, our pitcher, Elijah S., held them to one run and three hits. His breaking pitches were otherworldly this game.
The defense backed him up with some epic diving and leaping plays from our middle infielders late in the game to hold the game score to 7-1, including two highlight reel over-the-shoulder catches and throws made by our shortstop Tommy D, that took away their momentum.
We had some injuries, which our next-man-up approach helped us overcome. Our outfielders had some grabs that made you say WOW. Our hitting was led by Six P, who is a power hitter with eight games in a row with a double and/or a triple and many RBI’s.
Our team has a great culture first, backed up by a talented pitching rotation and great production at the plate. We have been referred to as a ‘model team’ for the league, and are excited to play again next year and help our league’s baseball footprint grow bigger in the area.
Our team also organized a charity game earlier this month for a local food bank, bringing the community together and raising $350 cash, along with an SUV full of food and clothing.
