2025 Wolfpack Wins Eighth Title in 12 Years in Capital District MSBL

This was title number eight in 12 years, as we finished the regular season 19-1 and swept our five playoff games to finish 24-1.

This was an exciting year! As I organized with Saratoga Commissioner Ken Banker for interleague play, where each of our teams played theirs once, it turned into a great success. Our only loss was in game two to their Expos squad.

We were led this year by reigning CY Young winner Jami Burnetter and reigning MVP Joey Boomhower, along with catcher Brendan Roberts and Mike Ruffinen, who all hit .450 or better in the regular season.

Every starter hit over .300 for the season, which makes this job a little easier. The playoffs MVPs were Co-winners Zack Andi and Brendan Roberts, who both carried the way.

They say winning never gets old, and that couldn’t be more correct.  But what makes this easier is that it’s a Wolfpack Family, and this is what makes this group what it is, because this is a family outing every time we take the field.
