The Pirates got on the board in the top of the first inning after Justin Amesquita singled down the right field line, Hector Esquivel singled to left field, and Caleb Gonzales grounded out, each scoring one run.
A fielder’s choice by Michael Camarillo extended the Pirates’ lead to 4-0 in the top of the third inning.
The Pirates committed an error, which helped the Bombers tie the game at six in the bottom of the eighth.
The Pirates flipped the game on its head in the top of the tenth, scoring six runs on six hits to take the lead, 12-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Jose Solarzano on the tenth pitch of the at-bat that drove in two.
Jarret Flores led things off on the mound for the Pirates. The starting pitcher allowed four hits and two runs (zero earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out four and walking three

The Bombers amassed 12 hits in the game. Bryan Wyatt led them with two runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-5 on the day. Bryce Sorbel led the Bombers with three hits in three at-bats.
