2025 Pour Bros. Jacks Sweep Expos in Championship Series for Peoria Sunday Morning Title

Peoria Sunday Morning League

Pour Bros. Jacks 3, Firehouse Pizza Expos 1 (Game two in best-of-three championship series sweep)

The Pour Bros Jacks finished the Peoria Sunday Morning season with a 22-8 record, going 6-1 in postseason play to secure their second title in franchise history. Manager Zach Skulte effectively used his deep bullpen throughout the playoffs, getting key contributions from multiple arms.

The Peoria Sunday Morning League named Jack’s 8-year veteran left-handed pitcher, Casey Hollan, the Post-Season MVP for his dominant performance: two wins, 11 IP, three hits, two walks, 13 Ks, and 0 earned runs — a stretch that included a complete-game No-Hitter in a 1-0 playoff elimination game.

Other standout postseason pitching performances included:

  • Tate Roley– 2 wins in 13.1 IP, allowing just 6 hits, 5 ER, and striking out 16.
  • Noah Chase– Championship Series–clinching save, striking out the side in the final frame; 8 IP, 8 Ks overall.
  • Joe Nelan– Used twice as a lefty opener, totaling 5 IP, 7 Ks, and 0 ER.
  • Ethan Zaayenga– 11 IP, 0 BB, 7 Ks, and a postseason win.
  • Brandon Ward– 4 IP, 7 Ks, and a postseason win.

Justin Janssen was a clutch contributor at the plate, belting an insurance RBI double in the top of the seventh inning in the Championship clinching game two.

The Pour Bros. Jacks were led this summer by League All-Stars Tate Roley (LHP), Broker Bailey (RHP), Josh Arnett (C), Noah Chase (3B/RHP), Micah McCoy (3B), and Trever Goforth (OF).
