Originally the Austin Pirates, managed by Mike Lucas and then Tom Fugate, the team has consistently reached the championship game since 2020, despite frequent roster changes.

This season was unique, with over half the roster being rookies. After a challenging season, the Generals finished 9-9. In the semifinals, they faced their familiar rivals, the Austin Angels, sweeping the series 2-0 with a combined score of 28-6.

In the championship series against the top-seeded Austin Mets, the Generals won Game 1 with a close 5-4 victory. Game 2 was interrupted by a storm, leading to a 48-hour delay. The Mets came back to win 7-5. In the decisive Game 3, the Generals overcame an early 2-0 deficit, scoring crucial runs in the sixth inning. With stellar pitching from Nick Vautrin and a game-saving play by Alex Carrasquillo, the Generals secured their third division crown in five seasons.

Congratulations to standout players: Jojo Flores (Playoffs MVP), Emmett Hufstedler (Legendary Glove), Nick Vautrin (Most Outstanding Pitcher), and Brian Dexheimer (Regular Season MVP, Slugger of the Year, & Rookie of the Year). Thank you for an amazing 2024 Championship Season!
