After battling through the playoffs as the fourth seed in the division and the overall eight seed in the league, the Angels fell to theMudhens two games to none in the championship series. The Angels got pushed to the limit in their playoff run first by beating the five seed Barons 2-1 in 10 innings and then knocking off one seeded Knights 5-4 in 10 innings. Then went on to play the number two seeded Bulls in a best of three series winning game one before losing game two. In the third decisive game the Angels held on to win 4-1 to claim the Rock League 28+ American League Championship.
