League Champs and Windy City 35+ Champions

The A’s of the Chicago North MSBL have proven to be “the premier team to beat” in the Chicago area.After winning a “4-peat” in this year’s Summer league and seven out of the last eight years, the A’s do it again by winning the 35-over division of the Chicago Windy City Classic last weekend beating the CCSMSBL Wood Peckers5-1 in the Championship game. Rich Capparelli went all nine innings on the bump for his second tournament victory. The tournament proved to be excellent competition and great preparation for the Arizona bound players.
