2023 Brewers Battle Back from .500 Season to Win Hudson Valley-Westchester 35+ Lower Division Playoffs

The championship was a back-and-forth game.  We fortunately had a huge top of the seventh to go ahead by four and then the Yankees managed to have the bases loaded with two outs in the bottom of the seventh, but our right fielder made a diving catch to end the game!

The Brewers started the season in a hole at 2-7 but battled back to get to .500 to make the playoffs.  We forfeited our first game of the double-elimination playoffs, but with one loss and our backs against the wall, we went 5-0 to win the championship.  We were the underdogs in all of the playoff games but were able to make a statement around the league.

I am happy for the team, as this was my first year managing, and winning it the way we did was really special.
