‘Herold Throws Shutout in Title Game’

After a 7-12-1 Season the Met’s rebounded to win the Rochester Men’s Senior Baseball League playoffs.
The Mets won three straight playoff games, 6-1 versus the Royals, 12-0 versus the Sox and then defeated the A’s in the Championship Game 3-0. It was a true team effort.
Special thanks to our shortstop and League President Vern Van Skiver, for keeping the league going and providing quality fields to play on. The box score from the championship game is below.
