‘Bombers Sweep Championship Series’

After a great 20-4 regular season record in the Boston MSBL/MABL the top seeded East Boston Bombers were able to sweep the Somerville Senators in the 30+ National championship round after going a perfect 6-0 in the playoffs and earn their first MSBL National division Title!

The Bombers offense was led by the coach and League MVP David Lightbody, with the Bombers team hitting a solid .375 (59-157 3Hr and 30 RBI) in the postseason.

The pitching was outstanding with a 0.538 era while only giving up three runs with four shutouts in only six playoff games! Congratulations to the runners-up Somerville Senators, who defeated two very strong teams (Natic & JM Force) to get to the finals with strong hitting and pitching performances throughout the playoffs.
