The Bombers defeated the River Bums 20-8 in the Championship game on Sunday July 17th. The fourth time was the charm for the Bombers as the River Bums defeated the Bombers three times during league play.
Sean Miller pitched six strong innings in 105-degree heat. He gave up three runs on four hits as the Bombers built a 16-3 lead before Sean turned the game over to the Bomber bullpen.
Big clutch hits were delivered by Travis Buaas (3 hits), while Eddie Calzoncit, Brooks Wyatt, and Sean Miller who had two apiece. We also benefited from great plate awareness from clean-up hitter Brent Bode, who had five bases on balls and JR Broils who walked four times.
It was an awesome season and another great 28 Bomber Team Championship!
