The Logo of Puget Sound Senior Baseball LeagueJim Haller was the championship game winning pitcher. He pitched seven sterling innings, and 79-year-old PSSBL Hall of Fame member manager Rick Park closed the final two innings for a 14-9 win.  Rick is also a member of the 2016 class of the MSBL World Series Hall of Fame.

Lane Loland was announced as the division MVP after the game. Loland had two hits, three stolen bases, and three home runs for the year.

Haller was also on base all four times with two hits, two walks, and two key RBI.

Steve Williams had a smashing hit to left with two outs for two RBI, and Amigo Wright, who has been with the Sox many years, went 2 for 3 with three RBI. Amigo had four scoops at first base. He has ice in his veins!

Former band member for Tina Turner and Purdue player, Dan Langley, is the Sox shortstop who played injured but still went 2 for 4 and made an unbelievable catch in the outfield from shortstop.

Hiro Kida turned in another key 2-RBI hit in the top of the ninth, sealing the victory over a tough Osprey team.

Greg Bradford caught a great game. Greg played pro ball in the Phillies organization.

Managing the strike zone was key for the Sox all year, with PSSBL Hall of Fame member Marse McNaughton posting a .667 on-base percentage as the leadoff hitter.
