The 2025 season for the Binghamton Southern Tier Baseball League in New York capped off with the Championship game held on Sunday, August 3rd, between the Terror Dogs and the Hornets.
It was a very challenging year weather-wise, but we still managed to complete the year on schedule.
The Terror Dogs, led by Anthony Campo, who were the third seed in our league, knocked off the two-time defending Champions Hornets, led by Tim Russin, by a score of 5-3
The 2025 BSTABL (Binghamton Southern Tier Baseball League) concluded its season with a very competitive Championship Game.
Anthony Siracusa had a 2-run home run in the first inning for the Terror Dogs. The Hornets also had a 2-run home run of their own, hit by Justin Fleming in the third inning.
Michael Chantry added a 2-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to put the Terror Dogs up 5-3.
Joe Dundon pitched seven innings and got the ‘W.’ Steve Eggleston came in to pitch the eighth and ninth to get the 2-inning save. The game ended with a long fly ball to left center that was caught at the wall with the tying run on base.
