2025 Team GTOD Named Flathead Adult Men’s Baseball League Champions
Flathead Adult Men’s Baseball League
GTOD 6, Brewers 5

Submitted by Ryan Veneman, manager
After going 11-1 in the regular season, with our only loss coming on a walk-off wild pitch, Team GTOD (Glacier Twins or Die…GTOD is a team constructed of Glacier Twins Alumni, the local American Legion team) came out on top against a great Brewers team, 6-5.
Down 5-1 in the bottom of the sixth, GTOD scored five runs to claim the lead late, 6 to 5. The Brewers loaded the bases in the top of the seventh, but ultimately could not push across the tying run.
We have always wanted to play in a men’s league after our baseball days came to an end. When Nathan Dugan, our commissioner and player/manager of the Brewers, announced the league formation, I knew I had to get a team together. Our team was constructed of mostly young guys, Glacier Twins Alumni from 2016-2024, with our oldest, my dad, being 50.
It was super fun to get back on the field I grew up playing on, with my old baseball buddies and dad, playing some great baseball. We were carried by our young guys, Maddox Muller, Hayden Meehan, and Kellen Kroger. Those three pitched nearly every game, and all hit very well, too.
Nathan Hader caught every single inning for us, after not playing baseball for a few years, and did phenomenal. AJ Wetsch seemed to get the big hit we needed every game, as our second-oldest guy. Collectively, we all loved the guys we played with, and even when losing, we were having a great time, knowing we had the talent to come back at any time. I think the championship game showed that.
We want to thank MABL and especially Nathan Dugan for bringing the league to life, and can’t wait to defend that Championship next year!
Added GameChanger…Kellen Kroger earned the win for GTOD. The hurler gave up five hits and four runs over six innings, striking out eight and walking two. AJ Truman took the loss for the Brewers. The right-handed pitcher went five innings, giving up three runs on four hits, striking out four, and walking seven. Hayden Meehan earned the save.
Kyle Field provided pop in the middle of the lineup and led the Brewers with two runs batted in. The infielder went 1-for-4 on the day. Corbin Hurst led the Brewers with two hits in two at-bats. Kyle Field and Corbin Hurst each stole multiple bases for the Brewers. The Brewers ran wild on the base paths, amassing six stolen bases for the game. They also turned one double play in the game.
GTOD piled up 10 hits in the game. Rob Veneman, Maddox Muller, and Hayden Meehan each collected two hits for GTOD. AJ Wetsch and Maddox Muller each drove in two runs for GTOD. Nate Hader paced GTOD with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, amassing 11 walks for the game. GTOD turned two double plays in the game.
