The Memphis Blues defeated the World Team 6-2 on Saturday to take the 2025 Whit Agee 55+ Division championship.

Mark Clark started the game for the Blues and gave up a single run in the top of the first and another in the third, getting the win for the Blues.  Bob Winer pitched two shutout innings to get the save.

The Blues took an early lead with three runs in the first inning off World pitcher Chip Myers, with Jason Walker doubling in two runs and Jeff Woodard singling in the third.  That was all Mark Clark and the Blues needed as it turned out.

Randy Matthews had two hits for the World.   Chris Howell pitched two shutout innings for the World team after catching the first five innings.

The Blues scored two more runs in the third on singles by Walker and Winer and a final run in the fourth on a pair of walks, a stolen base, and two ground outs to go up 6-2 and seal the win.
