2025 Ducks Shutout Undefeated Pirates for 45+ Spring Title in Utah Adult Baseball League

The defending champion Utah Ducks finished off a 9-3 regular season with a first-round playoff victory over the Utah Dodgers. The championship game went how we hoped, with a victory over MLB Hall of Famer Randy Miles and his undefeated Salt Lake Pirates team.

The top of our lineup scored two runs in the first inning, and we piled on six more in the ninth inning. The game ended with the Ducks winning 8-0.  Derek Chatwin threw a gem, only allowing a few hits in a complete game shutout. Tyler Baldwin called an amazing game behind the plate and had a couple of big hits.

Pete Imhoff made an amazing defensive play in the ninth to take a possible two runs away and any hope they had. We have a great bunch of guys, and we can’t wait to defend our title in the fall!
