White Sox 10, Expos 6 (Game two of best-of-three championship series sweep)

The 2025 Central Arkansas MSBL season delivered quality baseball from Opening Day through the final out of the Championship Series. Once again, the league showcased why baseball continues to thrive in this part of Arkansas. Parity defined the season, as teams bolstered their rosters across the board. But one team separated itself from the rest.

Justin Vincent, Stephen Swagerty, and Derek Birginske anchored the rotation, while Cody McKeon provided key spot starts and steady relief work. The staff combined for six shutouts, including a remarkable stretch of five in a row.

Defensively, the Sox were as reliable as ever. Veteran outfielders Zach Davis, Seth Hyder, and Caleb Harpole patrolled the grass, while rookie shortstop Drew Chilton made an immediate impact with quick hands, a strong arm, and impressive athleticism, solidifying the infield.

Offensively, the Sox lineup proved relentless. Team captain Zach Davis led the charge with a .512 batting average, joined by Birginske (.462) and Russell Bailey (.400). In total, the offense generated 155 runs, consistently pressuring opposing pitchers with disciplined at-bats and clutch hitting throughout the order.

The season was also filled with milestones for manager Stephen King, who earned his 200th career victory (est. 2011), celebrated his 10th regular-season championship in 14 years, and captured his 8th Championship Series title.

With a blend of dominant pitching, steady defense, and balanced hitting, the 2025 White Sox cemented their place as the league’s standard-bearer, securing back-to-back championships and writing another proud chapter in Central Arkansas MSBL history!
