2024 Pirates Thrash Rainiers for 18+ Adams Division Championship in Puget Sound Senior Baseball League
Pirates 13, Rainiers 4
Submitted by Spencer Smith, Pirate’s manager
The 2024 PSSBL Season marked the 11th full season for the 18+ Adams Division Pirates. The Pirates’ first few seasons were a constant struggle to produce a winning team, often finishing near the bottom of the division.

The Pirates had a very strong regular season, going 16-5-1 with a 10-game win streak to lock up the #1 Seed for the first time in franchise history. It was a bit of a surprising, but exciting result. The off-season saw the Pirates losing a few key pieces and restructuring the roster to get some of the veterans more playing time.
The Pirates, as a team, led the division in most offensive categories, fronted by Kenny McCormick. They also posted near the top in many pitching statistics, with a pitching staff led by Anthony Hill, Mike Varnier, and Chris Badley.
