The 2024 PSSBL Season marked the 11th full season for the 18+ Adams Division Pirates. The Pirates’ first few seasons were a constant struggle to produce a winning team, often finishing near the bottom of the division.

The Logo of Puget Sound Senior Baseball LeagueWith the passion of a handful of core players, who still play on the team, and a slow build-up of talent through buddy picks and the draft, they found themselves winning their first division championship in 2017. Including that year, they have played in 5 of 7 division championships, winning their third this year.

The Pirates had a very strong regular season, going 16-5-1 with a 10-game win streak to lock up the #1 Seed for the first time in franchise history. It was a bit of a surprising, but exciting result. The off-season saw the Pirates losing a few key pieces and restructuring the roster to get some of the veterans more playing time.

The Pirates, as a team, led the division in most offensive categories, fronted by Kenny McCormick.  They also posted near the top in many pitching statistics, with a pitching staff led by Anthony HillMike Varnier, and Chris Badley.
