2024 Hurricanes Topple Defending Champion Milkmen for 50+ Title at Lehigh Valley MSBL/MABL

Lehigh Valley Hurricanes 8, Limeport Milkmen 5 (Game three of best-of-three championship series)

The 2024 50+ League Champions of the Lehigh Valley MSBL/MABL are the Lehigh Valley Hurricanes!

The Hurricanes played the previously unbeaten Limeport Milkmen, defending champions and owners of a 19-0-1 record coming into Sunday’s action. The Milkmen won 18-4 in Game one on Saturday with a hitting onslaught in the best-of-3 championship finals.

Despite falling behind 3-0 in Game two, and 5-0 in Game three, the resilient Hurricanes came back in both games to upset the Milkmen 11-3 in Game two, and 8-5 in extra innings in Game three to win the title at Limeport Stadium.

Manager Steve Smull would like to thank all the Milkmen players for a great series as they are an incredibly classy team and despite a tough day Sunday, they had an awesome season with a record of 19-2-1.

The Hurricanes finished 16-5-1 and posted their ninth LV MSBL playoff championship (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2018, 2024) to go along with a 2016 MSBL World Series tournament championship win in the 45+ Division.

Next stop for the Hurricanes: Arizona in late October for the 55+ MSBL World Series tourney!
