The Mets came back to win 7-5. In the decisive Game 3, the Generals overcame an early 2-0 deficit, scoring crucial runs in the sixth inning. With stellar pitching from Nick Vautrin and a game-saving play by Alex Carrasquillo, the Generals secured their third division crown in five seasons.
