 ‘Red Sox Go Back-to-Back for 2023 Title’

In my last year of managing this great team of ballers (Red Sox/Athletics) and being the oldest average-aged team (50 years) in the 32+ division, the Red Sox repeated as 32+ division league champions!

I took over the A’s team in 2010. We won championships in 2007-09, 2011-14, and now with the Red Sox (a redeveloped A’s team) in 2022 and 2023. I do have to say this last one was THE sweetest by far!

The competition was the best it has ever been.  And with injuries, soreness of muscles, a shortage of players, and working around kid’s schedules and the weather element, this ‘older group’ of gutsy guys battled and came back from multiple deficits, went extra innings, and had to win back-to-back games to win the series in our last at-bats to come out on top!

We finished the season/playoffs with a record of 26-2, the team’s best in its history.
