The Desperados faced the Houston Roughnecks on August 6^th as both teams were making their bid for their first championships. The Desperados ended the day notching a 3-1 victory.

Key highlights were Michael Brueckner pitching seven innings of one run baseball, only giving up a home run in the fifth inning. Matt Wolff scored the Desperados third run of the game on a steal of home.

Overall, solid defense and solid pitching resulted in The Desperados bringing home their first Open division title in year nine of the team!
