Yankees 7, Wildcats 3 (Tournament championship game)

The Des Moines Yankees of the Mid-Iowa Baseball League (MIBL) repeated as regular season and post season tournament champions.  After sweeping the titles in 2022, The Yankees lost several key players and great teammates, leaving us with a steep climb to repeat.  However, we added a few new players and played great team baseball in a very competitive league to finish 10-2 and win the regular season title.

The Yankees then went 3-0 in the post-season tournament to earn the Tournament Championship as well.  It was a great season with a great bunch of guys, and we look forward to getting back on the field this upcoming season.
