‘Braves Capture First Title’

The upstart Braves captured their first-ever Terre Haute MSBL 35+ division title last Sunday on the turf at Bob Warn Field at Indiana State University Stadium. The Braves were able to get past the Yankees in the championship game by a tally of 9-6.

The Braves are managed by Seth Garner, who collected the win on the pitching mound and drove in a key late-inning insurance run with an old-fashioned safety squeeze play.  R.J. Lawyer collected a big triple in the late innings as well, helping propel the Braves to their first 35+ Division title!
