2022 Yunior Perozo Drives in Four to Seal Braves Championship in Inaugural Florida Adult Baseball Season

Yunior Perozo showed timely hitting on Tuesday, driving in four on three hits to lead the Braves past the Marlins, 14-6. Perozo drove in runs on a home run in the third and a home run in the sixth.
The Braves earned the victory despite allowing the Marlins to score five runs in the sixth inning. The Marlins’ big inning was driven by singles by Medearis and Steven Pulcinella, and an error on a ball put in play by Freddie.
The Braves got things moving in the second inning when Tyler Lyke hit a solo homer. The Braves then followed with six runs in the third inning. The rally was led by doubles by Jesus Rosales and Jose Carrasquel, a home run by Perozo, and an error on a ball put in play by Erney Tovar.
Lyke pitched the Braves to victory, lasting three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking one. Wayne Ochadleus and Perozo entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.
Michael Self took the loss for Marlins. The hurler surrendered seven runs on four hits over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two.
The Braves launched four home runs on the day. Perozo had a long ball in the third and sixth innings while Dominick Ciarcia went deep in the sixth inning. Lyke contributed a four-bagger in the second inning.
The Braves collected a total of 12 hits. Perozo, Carrasquel, and Aaron Weedo each collected multiple hits for the Braves. Perozo led the Braves with three hits in three at-bats.
The Marlins also totaled 12 hits, with Parker, Medearis, Pulcinella, and Yordany Gonzalez each managing multiple hits. Parker went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead the Marlins.
