‘Cole Gets it Done on the Bump and at the Plate’

For the second time in two years, the Rounders beat the undefeated Rockies in the championship.   The Rounders exploded for 11 runs in the final three innings led by home runs from Todd Privett and Jeff Cole.  The bottom A/B part of the batting order went 6-9 and was a big part of the victory.   

Jeff Cole pitched six innings and got the win and Dustin Clark threw the final three innings for the save.    It is always a great game when we play the Rockies.  They usually find a way to beat us but we got this one.   Mick Mickelson of the Rockies also hit a home run and went 4-4 in the loss.
