2022 Mets Topple Yankees to Capture First 33+ Championship in Capital District MSBL

The Mets won their first championship in their first year in the 33+ division of the Capital District MSBL.  The Mets won the best of five series versus the Yankees. After losing game one, they came back to run off three in a row to take the title. 

The Mets fought off the Yankees in game two in extra innings with an important Greg Jette home run to give the Mets the lead in an important game two. 

In the championship game the Mets were able to put offensive pressure on the Yankees throughout the game to close out the series and win their first 33+ plus championship.  The Mets have moved up from the 18+ division where they hold the record in CDMSBL 18+ for most championships by a team with five.
