‘2021 Sacramento Giants Win Ultra-Competitive 50+ Night League Division’

The Sac Giants beat the Bombers 11-4 to win the Sacramento Night League 50+ National Division. Four teams entered the final week of the regular season in playoff contention including the Marlins and Dodgers before the Giants and Bombers emerged to play the best two out of three final. 

The Giants dropped the first game of the series but momentum swung quickly in games two and three behind steady pitching performances from Giants starters Gary Stonebrook and Phil Crumback.  Aureilio “Pep” Hurtado crushed the ball in the final with two doubles and five RBI for the Giants while Rob Ericsson scattered three hits for the Bombers.
