‘Biscuits Cook Up ‘Back to Back’ Titles’

The Tulsa Biscuits took the lead late in the game in a 3-1 victory over the Angels to claim their second Metro Tulsa Baseball Association championship in back to back seasons.
The Angels scored one run in the third and then the Biscuits evened things up at one in the top of the eighth inning with an RBI single by Brian Schroeder.
The game was tied at one with the Biscuits batting in the top of the eleventh when Jonathan Gobbo singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring Andrew Dickison.
Bargas earned the win with allowing one run on four hits over 11 innings, striking out 16. The Biscuits tallied nine hits in the game as Nick White and Nathan Gates each managed two hits to lead the Biscuits.
