2019 Woodchucks Take Out Armadillos for Vermont Senior Baseball League Championship

The 2019 Vermont Senior Baseball League championship game featured a rematch of the previous two with the Williston Armadillos hosting the Middlebury Woodchucks for the third year in a row. Middlebury put together a couple of two-out rallies in the second and third innings with some big hits to build an early 7-0 lead. Williston chipped away to close the gap but solid defense behind a strong pitching performance held off the effort. Middlebury’s playoff run was marked by key contributions from each player and it was another team effort that saw Middlebury beat a very good Williston team 8-5 to win the championship.
