‘Nationals Sweep Brewers for Repeat Title’

The Loudoun Nationals successfully defended their 2018 championship with a sweep of the Ballston Brewers.  The series was highlighted by outstanding pitching and solid defense. 

Steve Smith pitched a complete game shutout to secure game one.  In game two Kris Turberville threw eight solid innings and Greg Schuler slammed the door shut in the ninth for an 8-4 victory to take the three-game series and another DCMSBL championship!
