‘Fitta Four-hitter Seals the Championship’

The Rhode Island Salty Dogs are champions in the 40 division for the eighth straight year! In the finals we against strong competition, playing the Colt 45’s. Jim Clark pitched a complete game in game one winning 8-1. Our strong bats included Mike Lunardelli, Frank Botelho and Darrin Cumminskey.

In the final game Dan Fitta went nine innings while striking out seven and giving up just four hits in our 6-1 victory. We finished the season with a record of 21-3.
