2017 Mid-Iowa Baseball League 35+ and 45+ Division Report
Submitted my John Linden, League President’45+ Champions Split’
The Des Moines Reds won the 45+ Regular Season division title with a 12-2 record. They are managed by Warren Anderson.

The Des Moines Grays swept through the 45+ double-elimination tournament, winning all four of their games.
Pitcher Jason Henry recorded all four Playoff wins. They defeated the Reds in the final by a 7-4 score. They are managed by John Linden.

’35+ Division Champions – Bulldogs Sweep Both Titles’
The Des Moines Bulldogs won the 35+ Division regular season title with a 13-1 record.
The Bulldogs then swept through the tournament, winning three games and defeating the Indians 13-3 for the title. Over the course of the season, the Bulldogs had eight shutouts.
The 1-2 punch of Aaron Quinn and Matt Langford led the charge all year. They are managed by Joe Smith.
