‘Back to Back One-Run Victories Sink Mariners’
The Sea Dogs of the 32-over division of the Rhode Island Men’s Senior Baseball League successfully defended their league championship this past season, defeating the Mariners in two straight games to sweep the championship. They won the first game on September 23rdby the score of 4-3 and captured the title with an 8-7 victory on September 26thto sweep the championship series.
The Sea Dogs finished the season with an 18-6 record and a very impressive 234-123 run differential, which led the league. Congratulations to manager Kevin Curt and the entire Sea Dogs team as they rattled off seven straight wins to end the season and catapult them to the title.
