The Panera Pirates, behind the one-hit pitching of Eric Somers, defeated Northeast Nine 8-1 to take a 1-0 lead against Northeast Nine in the best two out of three Eastern Connecticut MABL Chief G’Tinemong World Series. Leading the Pirates at the plate was Billy Buscetto, going 4-5 and scoring a run. Slater Gregory went 3-4 and knocked in a pair of runs. Ryan Goodwin chipped in with a double and both Tristan Hurley and Sawyer Gregory scored three times each. For the Niners, Causton Merchant had the only hit and scored the only run. Isaiah Ramos was the losing pitcher.

The Panera Pirates,behind the strong pitching of Clayton Shaw, defeated Northeast Nine 6-2 to win its fourth consecutive ECML Chief G’Tinemong World Series. Like Eric Somers the night before Shaw went the distance to earn the win. Leading the Pirates were Sawyer Gregory with a double and single while brother Slater Gregory chipped in with a double. For the Niners, Causton Merchant was 3-4 with a pair of doubles. Justin Thomas was the losing pitcher.
