‘Best of 3 Championship Series won by Miller Lite’

Miller Lite repeats as champions of the Peoria Sunday Morning League. The Falcons took Game 1, 10-1 over Kohl’s Diamond Gallery. League ‘Pitcher of the Year’, Walter White got the win, while the offense gave him plenty of run support. Game two was more of a pitchers duel, with Miller Lite winning 2-1, while only mustering three hits. Drue Galassi knocked in the go-ahead run in the sixth inning and Pitcher Clay McConkey finished off the complete game in the seventh. The victory capped off another successful season in Peoria, finishing off the 101st season of the league.
