‘Roadrunners one wild pitch away from championship’

The Roadrunners started the season off really good. With us having some injuries and losing some key players we ended up third place in league play.

In the playoffs we played the second seed and won that one. We went into the finals thinking that we had no chance against the loaded Scorpions. We played a great game especially the great pitching performance of David Duhon and good called game by catcher Ed Buckley. The Roadrunners lead almost entire game until the Scorpions scored on wild pitch (passed ball). The score ended up 6-5, with the Scorpions the champions.
