Game one: North Wales Royals 4, Radnor Raiders 3

Rick Balabon’s infield RBI single in the sixth inning broke the 3-3 tie. Gordy Kocher picked up the win and Dennis Burge pitched a scoreless seventh for the save.

Game two: Radnor Raiders 4, North Wales Royals 1

Johnny Gonzalez, who threw all 13 innings of the double-header, was the complete game winner. Matt Blazynski hit a 2-Run home run and a sacrifice fly for three RBI’s and Chris Jeffers hit an RBI double to seal the victory for the Raiders.

Game three: Radnor Raiders 9, North Wales Royals 7 (14 innings)

Henry Fregeau’s Radnor Raiders outlasted North Wales Royals in one of the best games and series in league history. Co-MVP Johnny Gonzalez threw another 8 1/3 innings, totaling 21 1/3 for the series. The Raiders jumped out to a 5-0 lead early on then the Royals cut it to 5-2. It was 6-3 in the eighth when the Royals cut the lead to 6-5. They tied it in the ninth inning on a wild pitch. It was 7-7 after 10 until Co-MVP Chris Jeffers stroked a 2-Run double to win it in the 14th for reliever Matt Kalish. Royals starter Rick Balabon went the distance for the Royals. Chris Jeffers went 5 for 7 with four RBI’s including the game-winner. This was the Raiders second title in the last three seasons.
