‘Howl Reverses Their 2014 Season to Claim Title’

Submitted by Neil Lauri, Indy Howl manager

After winning only two games in all of 2014, the Indy Howl found themselves in the 2015 playoffs of the Indiana Adult Baseball League. The Howl defeated the Irish with a final score of 10-4 in playoff game one then were able to defeat the league favorite Phillies 5-2. Facing the Giants in the Championship game, they came out determined to reverse their 2014 season and won 6-0. The Championship Game was highlighted by Joe Major’s two-hit shutout and Nick Millspaugh’s solo home run. The defense played flawlessly and really set the tone for the entire game.

Some playoff highlights include Joe Major giving up only four runs through 17 innings and Ryan Reed giving up only two runs through nine innings. We faced the #1, and #2 top scoring teams in the league and held them to a combined two runs.
