The Clinton Brewers had an excellent 2015 season making it to the 35+ finals for the second straight year. We have brought on players and teammates that fit the team personality that we all share: Sportsmanship, Competition, and most importantly Fun. The average age of our team in 2015 was 42. Many great statistical achievements were accomplished in 2015. The Brewers team batting leaders were:Hits (32) Urban; Doubles (9) Trimarchi; Triples (3) Trimarchi; HR (2) Urban;RBI (25) Urban; Runs (26) Urban; AVG (.545) Fahy; OBA (.625) Fahy; SLG (.705)Trimarchi. Top Pitchers 2015: Stark (7-1, 3.58); Trimarchi (5-3, 3.95);Robinson (4-1, 2.33).
To sum up the season, I am quite proud of all the guys for their efforts on and off the field to make the Connecticut North MSBL experience fun and enjoyable for everyone. We have taken a group of guys who are from all walks of life and molded them into one cohesive unit. I would also like to thank John Powell for his leadership, support and positive team communication- He’s the large part of why the team communication is so efficient. For me, it is certainly a pleasure to manage, play, and dedicate my time to this great group of gentleman. I look forward to the 2016 campaign and many years to come.
