‘Bulldogs Slay Dragons in 40+ Final’

The Sacramento Bulldogs took the 40+ Championship in dramatic fashion in the Sacramento MSBL Sunday League 40-over American division. Game one went to the Dragons, who scored the winning run in the top of the tenth inning. It was do or die time for the Dogs, as they were behind in game two 8-2. But the Bulldog bats came alive in the top of the ninth as they scored eight runs coming from behind making it a final score of 10-8. In the big game the Dragons get an early lead but behind the relief pitcher, the Dogs were able to hold off the Dragons and claim a great team victory for the Bulldogs!

For the season, the Bulldogs were led at the plate by Miguel White, who posted a .526 batting average. He was followed by Eric Taylor who hit a very respectable .492. Taylor was also the leader on the mound as he posted a 5-0 record with a 4.78 earned run average. Their regular season record was 12-5-1.
