2014 Shockers Runner-up in League, Rebound at MSBL World Series

The Tri-Valley Cardinals of the Tri-Valley MSBL in California swept the Shockers in the Championship series of the 35-over division beating them twice in the best of three, 9-3 and 4-3.

The Cardinals pitching staff did an excellent job and held the Shockers offense to only six runs in the two games. The Shockers led the lead in runs scored in 2014 league play.

The Shockers were led by Lonnie Jackson who was 4-7 with two RBI in the two championship games while Steve Connally threw a complete game in the second game of the series allowing only two earned runs in a losing effort.

The Shockers re-grouped and went on to win the 2014 35+ Mountain division of the MSBL World Series in Arizona. Click here to read their championship story.
