Pruent continued, “Nick Simko was the winning pitcher going all nine innings and aided his own cause with three hits. Charlie Harris, Paul Smargiasso and Dave Bindas each collected two hits apiece. Pat Pruent was one for three with two rbi’s, and Bindas, Ron McEntire, Simko and Jim Wilson each had an rbi.”
