MUNY-Buffalo MSBL 25+ Division Regular Season

The Home Run Derby baseball club captured the regular season title in the 25-over division of the MUNY-Buffalo MSBL in New York with a 20-4 record. They came up a little bit short in their playoff run but still boast an exceptional season. Derby manager Michael Myers put together the winning summary of their very successful 2014 campaign. Said Myers, “We have the greatest fans in our league. They follow us both home and on the road and we wouldn’t be as successful as we are without them.”

On June 25, 2014 at Delaware Park Field #1 – Home Run Derby beat Akron Merchants 1-0 and Steve Pepi threw a one hitter. Made our record 10-1 at that time.

We won first playoff series 2-0 and then lost Semi-Finals {for second year in a row} 1-2. So we have to defend our Regular Season Pennant next season as well as win first Playoff Championship since I took over the team and first one in a long time. Those are our goals for next season.
