2014 Georgia Braves Win 35+ in West Metro Atlanta

The Georgia Braves are champions in the 35+ division of the West Metro Atlanta MSBL in Atlanta, Georgia. After giving up an eight run lead in the top of the ninth the GA Braves scored three runs on a walk-off two RBI single by Adam White to win the game 17-16 over the Blue Jays.
Joe Tatham had a tough luck no decision after pitching eight-plus innings and Steve Jenkins came in to stop the bleeding in the ninth to pick up the win. The GA Braves scored runs in every inning except the second and eighth, including four runs in the first and third innings, three in the fifth and one in the fourth, sixth and seventh to take a 14-8 lead into the top of the ninth. The Blue Jays proceed to score eight runs in the top of the ninth to take a 16-14 lead, but the GA Braves where determined to win their eighth straight game and the championship. The GA Braves proceeded to score three runs in the bottom of the ninth to win the title. Adam White, who had the game winner, was three for five with five RBIs. Leading hitters for the GA Braves were Brannon Perkins going three for four, and Matt Winters and Don Corr, each going two for two.
After starting the season 1-3-1, the upstart GA Braves ran off eight straight victories to be crowned champions.
The Blue Jays and the GA Braves played each other five times which included one tie and four wins for the GA Braves while only outscoring the Blue Jays by six runs. These were very exciting games between the two teams.
